Earl Mills was born on February 18, 1931 in Chalk, Texas. After moving to Tulsa as an adult, he received his legal education at Oklahoma City University’s School of Law, where he commuted nearly two hours one way to attend night classes at OCU to obtain his juris doctor degree. Earl went on to become one of Oklahoma’s premier insurance defense attorneys, and he has a legacy in the legal community as a fierce trial attorney. Although feared in the courtroom, Earl has a reputation of being a consummate gentleman. After retiring from the practice of law in 2001, Earl soon returned to work at Dispute Resolution Consultants (DRC) where he served as a mediator. Earl retired from DRC in 2015, however, he remains of counsel at Mills & Jones.
Earl enjoys spending time with his wife, Sandy, his three children, Wayne, Bob, and Kathy, and his numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
